Chinese Learning Module 4

Module 4 explores describing people’s appearance. The dialogues cover various physical descriptions, such as height, size, and hair colour, as well as making comparisons between people. Class activities include a guessing game in which students must identify a mystery classmate based on a physical description, and a recall activity in which students record traits of portraits viewed for only a few seconds. Supplementary cultural materials present a history of China’s fashions over the last sixty years.
